"Dusk"
Hi there...This is just a poem I scribbled out one night looking out my window. Please read and critique!
"Dusk" Dusky lavender light, Lingering like mist, In the evening air. A cricket violin chirps, Playing a sad tune, A lullaby. A nursery window is open, Warm breeze, Sweeps through the room. Rustling through the, Sleeping babes tousled locks, He murmurs in his sleep. The sun slips out of view, Under the horizon, Good night sun! Nightfall, Waits for the morning. |
