What inspires you to write?

I guess everything inspires me. Every couple of days I get a new idea in my head and get so excited over it. I wish i had the time to write them all down.

even if you don't have time to write it out, at least put down the concept -- it'll be useful when you run dry, or when you just want to go back and look at what you were thinking at a certain point.

Um, I don't know what I get ideas from. Usually other writing - i see a phrase, a title, a sentence, and I get ideas. Sometimes street signs are good for this, sometimes bad poetry [because there's always something there that I can say better *is snobbish & arrogant*]

I have a friend who says awesome stuff inadvertantly and who gives me ideas too. He's great.

What inspires me most are my friends, and my mom. I mean if you ever just sit down and listen to you friends talk it amazing. lol, and you wouldn't believe how many 'likes' they use in an average conversation. And my mom can make even the heater seem intersting, one time she said the it was actually a portal and the only way you could get out was when people outside of the heater turned it on.

I agree. When I used to comute an hour just to go to school I would nap in the car but half the time I wouldn't get any real sleep because I'd be listening to my parents talk. I wish I had a tape recorder for some of these conversations. A person could learn so much from my parents. Every now and then they'd say something that sparks my imagination and I'd just end up forgeting it by the time I got to school. I think that's one of the main things I miss since I changed schools.
