Default Favorite Music

What is your favorite type of music?

I like anything pre-1975 and post-1910. This includes various music styles such as: Jazz, Big Band, Doo-wap, Rock n' Roll, and many more. My favorite artist is Bob Dylan, but I like countless more.

Oh man I have such a huge variety in my playlist. I love classic rock, of course. I like Black Sabbath, Isis, Iron Maiden. But at the same time I also have a lot of P. Diddy, J-Lo and Britney Spears. Country too, I'm always hearing people say they like anything but country, but I like all the country music I've heard.

haha he's not my favorite, but I do have a lot of songs [back in the day when he was P. Diddy] Man I love the way celebs think. Of course that P was "getting in between him and his fans".

[Minute and half of research?]

Actually 30 seconds on The Daily Show. Quite a funny segment actually. Diddy made his announcment on CNN or at least they showed the CNN footage. After he (diddy) made the announcement, the crowd applauded their approval.

The P. was starting to bother me and I wasn't even a fan. lol

The Daily show, oh man. What a great place to get your information.

What's wrong with with the P? And how many times is this now that Diddy has changed his name?

As far as I know the first. If you look above, you will see my favorite music was written 30, 40, 50 years ago. Way before (P.) Diddy was a star. I don't know how many times he changed his name. Maybe this is the first time?

Maybe he dropped the P. in P. Diddy to save ink or maybe so it is easier to sign autographs?

No he's changed his name alot he was like Puff Daddy to begin with and then Puffy and P. Diddy and some such nonsense.

How do you get into such old music anyways? Like the classic rock and all older music I get is from my friends who get it from their parents. My parents weren't born here so they obviously don't know much about music. I'm always amazed by kids who have an extensive collection of oldies.

Puffy?! Hahahahaha Ahhhh-hahaha. A male hip-hop star named puffy? I can imagine this:
Tough looking guy: "Yeah I am cool. I have this new CD."
Small weak looking guy: "What are you listening to?"
TLG: "Puffy"
SWLG: "Hahaha"

That would be embarressing.

First off *embarrassing.

Second off, hahahahaha. Yeah, that might have been a factor in the changing of his name to something more masculine.
