What is your favorite HP book?
What is your favorite Harry Potter book?
My favorite was the fourth. I liked the tri-wizard contest, or at least the format of it. I didn't know what was going to happen next! In Quidditch, I knew what was going to happen, harry was going to look for a golden snitch and find it right before the other guy. I also liked Mad-eye Moody. |

Mmy favorite was the third. I liked meeting Sirius, I liked that the series was turning darker and things were changing a little bit, slowly.
I can definately say that my least favorite was the second book. It disappointed 9-year old me when I first read it - it seemed too weird, and didn't have the newness of the first. I'm glad that the series recovered.

The second was also my least favorite book. I didn't like the snakes and the voices. It was just a little to weird. Although I did like the defence against the dark arts teacher and how he reacted when he had to defend against the dark arts.

Dude, the third is my favorite too! haha I love Sirius so much, he was the best character out of the whole series to me...
What did you think of the movie of the 3rd one though? Frankly, I was a little disappointed.

when I first saw it, I hated it. It was a travesty! There were a lot of things from the book that were missing/changed and that really, really bothered me. I was completely disappointed.
I think you have to watch it just as a movie, though. As a movie it's really good - I was none so happy with Professor Lupin, but still - it's worthwhile if you're not picking at the way it matches up to the books. I saw it about a month ago on tv and, thinking of it as something separate, I enjoyed it more.

The third HP movie had a different director from the first two, correct? That could influence your like/ dislike of the movie.

Fav HP book
Why do the directors keep changing? The company should get oen director and keep him.The third movie was good if you just looked at it as a movie, but as a translation of a book it sucked.

So far my favorites have been the odd numbered books (1, 3, 5). It will be interesting to see how the series ends.
