The only book I can remember that made me cry was 'Lady of the Glen' (a story of Scotland when the scots were divided in who they wanted to be their king [nothing new, really] and the Campbells and the MacDonalds-of-Glencoe are at odds [as always]) Well, When the Campbells went to Glencoe under the flag of peace and they murdered all the MacDonalds. The Author, Jennifer Roberson, lets you think that Catrona Campbell's husband, Alastair MacDonald is dead. Oh, I just remembered that I cried when Terry, in T.A.Barron's book 'The Merlin Effect' was left mortally injured. I wrote T.A.B. about that and he answered that he was glad that I enjoyed is books but that he himself wasn't sure.

A book that broght tears to my eyes more then once was 'A rose for Melinda'. It was about a girl that had cancer and was at a very young age. She went though a ton and her family was always there. The dramaic irony was that you knew that in the end... She wasnt going to live but you never wanted her to. The style of writting was very creative. They had a converstaion though notes to eachother, they also had email conversations. It was very well written in my opinion... It left a message with me. I cryed so much reading that book that some of the pages wrinkled from the tears... It was such a good book though!

A Child Called It.

And, when I was younger. Where the Red Fern Grows. I sobbed like a baby when I read that, haha.

When I was smaller, my mother would read us books durring bed time. She dicided one night to start reading Where the Red Fern Grows. That was the only time, when I was little, that I could ever rememeber crying myself to sleep. Of course, my mother never knew it. So she kept reading it too us.

I cried in the sixth Harry Potter book too! I most recently cried when I read, A Time for Dancing by Davida Wills Hurwin. It is about a teenage girl who gets cancer.

A Rose for melinda and most of Lurlene Mcdaniel's book are about teens with cancer or transplants all are very copelling. The 6th HP book didn't make me want to cry so much as beg for the next one to come out sooner.

I've plenty of reason to cry in my life.
You think I'm heartless?
I've a heart broken, love.
