Anyone Applying for a Volunteer Position?
So now that the volunteer application is up, does anyone think they'll apply for a position?

I think I will. I am not sure what position I want though.
I think many others are interested too. Yesterday was the busiest day I've seen on the forum. Every single category (The Teenlit Lounge, Book of the Month, etc.) had a new post in it. |

I really want to be a mod here or on the editorial board. Working up to those 100 posts is proving a little difficult though.
But if more days like yesterday occur then I'll be there in no time!

I really wanna apply as well, for the editorial board.
And yes, working up that 100 posts is quite difficult, since I'm trying to find something meaningful to say in each and every one! But I'll grit my teeth and persevere! |

I think wracking up the posts get easier as it goes. Having the post count incentive was a good idea -- now we all want to think of things to say xD
I might go for mod - maybe site design. The main page layout is awesome, and I'd love to see the rest of the site look like that. I'm not so great at coding, but I could take a shot.

I'm glad to see people are interested
The reason for the 100 post requirement was so that we'd be able to get a better idea of you when reviewing the application. Whereas during an interview in real life you get to see the applicant in person and ask them a lot of questions, we really don't get that opportunity. The post minimum requirement allows us to read 100 of your posts. We can see if you've broken rules or insulted other members. We can review some of your interests and just get a better overall feel of what you're like. That said, get posting!

I think I'd like to apply to be a links manager when I have enough posts.
