you know what i just noticed? we don't have a realy thread catagory for writing IDEAS. i think maybe we should have one. ya know instead of actually writing a whole book to find out everyone hates it. instead if you have an idea about a book just post it on this thread and then people can bounce ideas back and forth and make comments.

we could just start with ideas on this thread for now.

one idea i had was sort of a sci-fi/ apocalypse story about aliens spreading a diesease through humanity because they want to inhabit earth, but feel humans cant be lived with, but small groups survive, and have to hide out and plan their future/counterattacks from remote mountains like the rockies or the White Mountains of New Hampshire (i know more about them, so the main characters would be hiding out there). It would be sort of like The Stand by Stephen King, just no religous good/evil stuff

wow, i'm not actually into the whole sci. fi thing but that actually sounds really good. It sounds like an edgy book, ya know where you never know whats going to happen next and there's alway action. i like those kinds of stories the best. especially since i'm a slow reader bc i like to take in every detail.
