Hilo and welcome Carrie and Lillith!! Hope you guys have fun here. I'll try to be a bit more present, but i had a long week. glad its over.
So, what books are you guys into?

Well, my favorite book of all time is Stalky & Co. by Rudyard Kipling, but this is not reflective of my general reading preferences. Mostly I like fantasy, especially when it has a little humor in it, so I really love Terry Pratchett and Douglas Adams. Also, I like Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter, anything by Tamora Pierce, anything by CS Lewis, Alice in Wonderland, the Pagan Chronicles by Catherine Jinks, Tithe by Holly Black ... the list goes on and on. How about you?

And yes, it's been a long week for me too, getting my ass wacked on the kickboxing ring and such, but I won the match so I'm like HAPPY right now

Ah life in London is busy and bustly, there is no moment of silence unless there's a funeral or something like that that hopefuly would shut people up...But it's not so bad, it has it's good points.

So anyways, I just started to wonder if all the people who have introduced themselves and more who would introduce themselves, well i was wondering if you'd put a picture of yourself? Oww come on guys, don't be shy, more or less we're all like one big family of book lovers ^^ hehe, I know! I'll start with putting my ugly self up so then maybe you wouldn't be so shy?

lillith- I love LOTR and Harry Potter books, c.s. lewis, Stephen King, Madline L'engle, The Mates, Dates series by Cathy Hopkins, and loads of Stephen King's other books.

ash-your not ugly -.- dont say that. Kickboxing sounds like a great sport to do. Ive wanted to, but i bruise easily[lol]. And im score keeper for my sisters softball team and do riding now. I wish it was busy here, but its so dull and bland in my little one horse town. -.-

I really don't have any favorite books....Harry Potter and the Roll of THunder Hear my Cry trilogy. I like most of the stuff by Poe and Stephen King but other than that no preferences. I just like books in general

I like Edgar Allen Poe works, too. And i just read some more short stories by Ray Bradbury. I think hes amazing.
