I've heard it said that many publishers won't take writing if a significant portion has been posted in a public place on the internet. For a novel or other long work, they may not publish it if you've posted more than a few chapters. What I heard may be mistaken, but I prefer to be on the safe side, myself.

That's why I'm only putting chapter one of my book up. I don't want to risk it being rejected for that reason. Of course, if it does get published, maybe my little teaser will persuade you to buy it... hehehe.

yeah im pretty sure that if you put it on this site then its not considered publishing..........................im pretty sure anyway
