What is your favorite quote?

My favorite is, "Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former." -Albert Einstein

Hmm that's hard, I have a lot of quotes I really like. Such as

"In three words I can sum up everything that I have learned about life. It Goes On."

or we have these "rules" in my house, and they're just things to live by, they're practical so you've probably heard them a lot but they mean a lot to me.

"Too much of anything is good for nothing"
"Where there's a will there's a way"

Another is a passage from the book Anna Karenina:
"She did not want him to say what was true. All she had left was his love, and she wanted to love him."
"You understand that from the day I loved you everything was changed for me. For me there is one thing only--your love. If it is mine I feel myself so high, so firm that nothing can be humiliating for me."

I guess it's kind of sappy, but what the hey.

Lets see how well I know my quotes:
1. The first quote is a Robert Frost quote/
2. I never heard the second one before.
3.The third one is traditional.
4. I don't know who said the fourth one, but I think it is traditionial.

Two for four. That's an okay score. Hey that rhymes.

Ooh, yes. The first is Robert Frost. But the question is now, did you know if off the top of your head, or did you cheat?

Really? I've been hearing the second one all my life. haha get it engraved somewhere, I think it's worth it.

3 and 4 are the same thing, sorry it was just a paragraph in the book. I just have used grammar and then it wouldn't have been so hard to figure out, haha.

Are you accusing me of cheating?

The Robert Frost quote I knew because a senior last year had it in his year book. I made up the last 3 responses. I heard of the last two, but I think they truly are traditional.

Default Fave quote

A nut was once an oak who held firmly on its ground.

I know it by heart and I really forgot who said it in the first place.

It helps me get in a good mood!

I found a new favorate quote today that I can really connect to:

"You do not really understand something unless you can explain it to your grandmother." — Albert Einstein.
