Of course I'd be bothered--that's why I'd take them to court. I'm not saying I want it to happen, I'm just saying no one would get away with it. Thieves are lazy, and there's no way they'd go to the effort of proving it was theirs (any idiot looking at my stuff would know it was mine, not to mention that I've submitted to literary agents, who would have a record of it).

I also think it's pretty arrogant to believe that someone would steal your work. I mean, I'm sure mine is publishable, but it's nothing in the league of Harry Potter or the like.
