Book Review Guidelines
Hi,
Here are the book review guidelines, included with each book we send. They're also posted in the Tutorial Section. First of all, thank you for participating in this exciting section of our website. We are committed to publishing book reviews from teens like you, and look forward to adding your review to our site! As a token of our appreciation, you get to keep this book for free and your review will be posted on our site to inform other readers about your opinion on this book. In exchange for the complimentary book, we request that you review the book within the next month (30 days). I have attached a book review outline that includes a sample response. This example is just for reference, but I ask that you respond to all prompts to the best of your ability. When you are finished, please submit your book review via our online form located at: https://teenlit.com/bookreviews/submit/. You will be prompted for a User Name and Password. Your User Name is book and your Password is reviewer. If you have any trouble logging in, please contact me via email. The form on https://teenlit.com/bookreviews/submit/ will ask you to submit the following information. Title and Author of book Genre (https://teenlit.com/bookreviews/genre for more information) Rating (1 - 4, 4 being the best) Who should read this book (age, gender, etc.- if appropriate) Your first name, City, State / Province / Country An introduction to the characters, setting, and main conflict(s) A preview of the plot without giving away too much (like the ending!) Your thoughts on the book- strengths and weaknesses and anything else As a reminder, TeenLit does not tolerate plagiarism. All submissions are run through several search engines and plagiarism prevention services. We appreciate your honesty. If you find the process enjoyable and would like to review additional books, we’ll be happy to provide you with your next book from the available choices when you’re ready. Please feel free to contact me, and I look forward to reading and publishing your review! Sincerely, Katie TeenLit Book Review Editor
