Hm. Robert Frost, sometimes; I used to really hate having to read his poetry in school, because we always got the most simplistic and preachy ones to read. At least, in the ways that we had to analyze them, they seemed preachy. *sigh* But other of his poems are waaay better than the ones assigned for school... "Mending Wall" is one.
I also get inspiration from e.e. cummings.
Outside proffessional poets, I've learned a lot from xenith and [believe it or not] gaia. I like reading work that's new, and not proffesional, but that's still excellent. And then there's some that is almost that good, and is enjoyable none the less...and reading it teaches me things.
