Mercedes Lackey`s Arrows of the Queen Trilogy
 

So my mother walks into my room and says: "I think you`ll like these" and puts three small books on my bed as I`m listening to the `Star Wars` music on my diskman.
I, knowing that my mother has good taste in books because all the other ones she`s given me are pretty good, picked them up lazily and check both the covers and the backs.

So, this little brown haired girl atop a cool looking white horse with saphire blue eyes on the front is a chick named Talia and she`s going to be a Herald of Valdemar.
Sounds alright.....

.....Welllll, this girl likes reading too, eh....not bad...... So the horse`s name is Rolan and he`s really an intelligent being who chose her to be the Queen`s Own Herald...

HOLY SMOKES! SWIM, TALIA! SWIM! OMG! ROLAN, QUICK GET HER BEFORE - DON`T LET GO OF HIS BACK OR YOU`RE GONNA DIE! OMG!-

Anyways, enough with the drama. It`s been about a year since I first started reading Mercedes and I think she`s freakin`crazy, but amazing. Does that make sense? LOL!
She`s done other stories outside of the world of Valdemar, but I don`t think they could be as good. The Heralds of Valdemar rock!
