I thought I'd start a thread where everyone can post a brief introduction :)

My name is Matt, I'm currently acting as the Administrator / Team Leader for TeenLit.com. I recently graduated college with a degree in History and English, and a specialization in Secondary Education (High School). Over the summer I work part-time as an EMT for a local ambulance service, and also continue to take additional college courses. Exciting, eh?

I started this project a year ago, and quickly realized how large of a project it really is. I look forward to working with everyone so that together we can build a site you use and contribute to often.

yea, i used to cheerlead, but I'm not a prep. My friends are tomboys, punks, goths, druggies, school hotties, and basically boys! I dont really like gurls that much, they're all into the whole bakstabbing thing, not me!

Wow, that was quite the intro. Hello Missy.

My name's Chicken Warrior, and I'm a chicken...or am I??


I just turned 15 in April. I love reading/writing (big surprise here), and I also love film and video games. I spend much of my free time writing. I just started a novel/short story a couple days ago (not sure how long it will be yet), but spend most of my writing time writing video game reviews/previews/news and editorials. I write for nintendogamenet.com, dscentral.net, netjak.com, as well as my own gaming site which is still fairly new. I also have an article right now on game-brains.com. If I'm not writing, I'm doing stop-mo animation or editing a documentary I've filmed about a local theater company. I also play classical guitar.

I probably could have ended with 'I'm a chicken', and I'm sorry to have bored you with details.

I look forward to sharing some of my work once I actually write something that I like, and also to reading all the great writing filling up this forum.

Hey, big shocker, I'm 15! I've been writing and roleplaying all school year and I've improved lots...and I hope to improve more over the summer. I help mod another writing forum and am probably the biggest post hog there...and since I dun have much to do y'all might be getting an influx of short stories and a few poems that make no sense.

ps. Im sorry if i sound...mean...but im kinda...mad...today. This chick frenched my (EX) boyfriend in front of me :eek: ...and in qym, we got in this total b**** fight....except w/ fists. It was my first fight :D ...and i won! Go me....whoohoo! And GOOD BYE Chris! :(

Well, I guess I shouldn't be congradulating people on fighting but...tough day. At least you know you won't have to worry about them for a while, with school letting out.

Hey everyone, my name is Shailyn (it's a unique name i know but it has NOTHING to do with my heritage) I'm 14 and I like tigereyes i mostly hang out with guys because I don't like how mean girls are. It's wierd though because no one has backstabbed me but I have wittness too many mean things so I guess I've been jaded. I'm VERY eclectic in my physical and emotional apperance.
