Don't Know if It's Any Good
Okay, so here's the prob:
I've been working on this story for about a year. It'll be just about 200 some pages if it was in book form. I'm on my third revisal and I think it's good, but I have no idea if anyone else would like it! Can you tell me if it sounds good? I'll give you the basic gyst: So there's these six girls: Sam, Rae, Nolee, Honey, Daisy and Mari (who tells the story) They are all foster children, living in an abusive home. Daisy is pregnant, so everyone wants to get her out of there. They run away by stealing their foster dad's car. Along the way, they meet Andrew and Mona, a woman and her son who give them help. Mari and Andrew get engaged before they move on to their final destination: New York. Between Andrew's farm and NYC, they work at a soda fountain, perform at a talent contest, etc. Then, they finally reach NYC and get jobs and an apartment (Honey turned 18 over the trip)During this time, Andrew and Mari are having a long-distance relationship. He is building her a house and she promises to come home to him when the house is done. Also, Nolee and Mari have always looked alike, but have never known if they are twins, so they are on a road to discovering their true identities. Finally, Daisy has the baby, the Social Services catch up with them and they are going ot be sent back to their evil foster dad. Mona, Andrew's mom, volunteers to take them though and they move in. It's pretty much good from there...ya know, the baby growing, Andrew and Mari in love, and Nolee and Mari meeting their birth mom. Sound good? Let me cuz I want to show someone (like a publishe) and see if they like it....you can always e-me at [removed by admin];) |
